Training Centers

The success of the Resilience Center model in providing an effective response to the stress and trauma of the residents of the Gaza Envelope, led us to replicate the model to other areas through the development of resilience programs for emergency preparedness and their implementation in regional training centers:

  • Mapping the authority and understanding the gaps, the needs and the forces operating within.
  • Laying the infrastructure for a comprehensive emergency procedure
  • Providing professional training in emergency fields to: psychosocial teams, educational teams, municipal leadership and others.

The resilience plans and protocols operate in cooperation with the local authority, associations and communities and are integrated into the municipal emergency preparedness plan. As a result, a comprehensive network of professionals and municipal employees is formed who share a common professional language, knowledge and tools available to respond when needed.

The regional training centers were established thanks to the generous donations of the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles to the training centers in the North, the eastern Negev and Jerusalem, the Jewish Federations of North America in the western Negev and the support of the Russell Berrie Foundation in the Northern region.
